Thanking Milwaukee's Healthcare Workers

The Milwaukee Business Journal's 2020 class of 40 Under 40 winners are looking to pull together our networks and peers within Milwaukee and South-Eastern Wisconsin to raise funds to let our local healthcare workers know how much we appreciate their time and dedication during the 2020 Coronavirus Outbreak.

In an attempt to both support local business and local healthcare workers, we are looking to raise as much money as possible to fund local coffee shops, bakeries, and other restaurateurs to help us provide meals, snacks, and much needed caffeine to area healthcare workers.

We all know that local businesses are struggling right now, especially those small businesses that that have become part of the fabric of Milwaukee. We'll be reaching out to as many of these businesses as possible to support this task. The more we raise, the more small businesses we can help, and the more healthcare workers we can keep energized.

We will be working with local healthcare groups to ensure that whatever is delivered is done in such a way as to minimize any risk to their workers(individually wrapped, single serving, curbside delivery, etc.).

At the end of the campaign, I, Justin Smith, will be withdrawing all funds raised to my personal bank account and will coordinate the distribution of all of these funds to our local business partners.
