Miguel started out with Barry's Bootcamp back in 1998, taking charge of all cleaning and maintenance for the original West Hollywood location. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes, cleaning up after people and fixing equipment whenever it broke down. In those early days, Miguel often worked double shifts because there was no one else to help. His dedication allowed others the time and space they needed to grow the business, as he quietly took care of all the behind-the-scenes processes that kept everything running smoothly.

Over the course of 27 years, Miguel became the backbone of Barry's, supporting not just the business but also his own family. In the later years, his wife Maritza joined him at Barry's, working alongside him and sharing in the commitment to the community. Together, they raised three children, who are now starting families of their own, all while continuing to give their best at work every single day. Now, after decades of hard work, Miguel and Maritza are finally able to step away from the daily grind and enter semi-retirement.
