Let's paint the Tampa Bay community with our gratitude! We want to show our thanks and appreciation to health care workers during this unprecedented time.
HOW IT WORKS:
With a minimum donation of $50, we will deliver a "THANK YOU HEALTH CARE WORKERS" sign to your front yard, business or doorstep. If you don't have a yard for your sign, you can place it in your window, or use however else you see fit.
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO:
All proceeds will be used to purchase food from locally owned and operated restaurants, who will deliver meals to health care workers in our community hospitals and COVID-19 testing sites across the Tampa Bay area. Let’s help the health care and restaurant industries simultaneously!
We are proud to announce that the Mease Countryside ER Hospital received meals from Daddy Dawgs in Safety Harbor and we look forward to continuing our cause at additional facilities.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Sign delivery is available in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties only and will be delivered within 3 business days. Additional instructions and a request for the address you would like the sign delivered to will be sent in a “thank you note” via GoFundMe.
HOW IT WAS INSPIRED:
We were inspired to help on a greater scale after an idea that was brought forth by our children. We were watching the news with our children (ages 4 and 6) one Saturday morning when they asked if they could make signs to ‘thank the people who are helping the sick people.’ We thought it was a great idea, and realized as a company and a member of our medical community that we could do more to help those who are putting their lives on the line everyday.
