I hope this message finds you well. Today, I come to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help. On February 2, 2024, our beloved granddaughter, Thalia Morrison, was involved in a devastating accident that has left our family shaken to the core.

At just 19 years old, Thalia was crossing the intersection of 18th St and Bridge St in Brighton, when she was tragically struck by a car. The impact was severe, leaving her with extensive injuries and facing a long road to recovery. Miraculously, she survived, but the journey ahead is daunting.

Compounding the trauma of the accident is the fact that the perpetrator left the scene, leaving Thalia injured and alone. The search for the suspect continues, but the emotional toll on our family is immeasurable.

Thalia is a bright, compassionate young woman with dreams and aspirations for her future. She had plans to pursue higher education and make a positive impact in her community. However, this unexpected tragedy has put her dreams on hold as she now faces mounting medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and ongoing treatment expenses.

As her grandparents, we are doing everything in our power to support Thalia, who also lives with us, through this challenging time.
