Thales Trek for Troops

We’re a team of employees from Thales Belfast and we are taking on an extreme challenge to raise funds for SSAFA NI, the Armed Forces charity. Our mission: to hike the whole 30 miles of the Down Coastal route while pushing ourselves to the limit.

As an ex-British Army soldier, I’ve experienced firsthand the incredible support SSAFA provides to veterans and service members like myself. When I left the Army, SSAFA was there to guide me, offering a helping hand and the support I needed to transition to civilian life. Now, I want to give back.

Every penny we raise will go directly to SSAFA, ensuring they can continue to provide vital services like counselling, housing support, and practical assistance to our brave troops, veterans, and their families.

This challenge is not just about us pushing our physical limits—it’s about showing solidarity with the men and women who face extreme challenges every day in service to our country.
