Ever since I was a little girl, my parents always told me whatever I decided to do in life- make sure it made me happy and a better person. I am so extremely blessed for this incredible opportunity- this summer, I will be volunteering for 2 weeks in Bangkok, Thailand working with Deaf/ Hard-of-Hearing students. I will teach alongside a Thailand Native, where we will co-teach using the two different languages- TSL (Thailand Sign Language) and ASL (American Sign Language). I will be expected to prepare lessons and present them, classroom management, help the students by providing one-on-one tutoring and homework, and most importantly emotionally support each child. The organization charges $2000 for the 2 weeks which includes me being provided with a host family, meals, transportation on the island, and other fees. I also will need to buy a flight which costs roughly $1500. I am asking for any donations to raise money to help pay for my trip to help change these children's lives which is my main goal.
