Hi, my name is Emma, I live in Spain. My friend Ahmed Al Tarabin is in Gaza and has started this initiative with the aim of providing both formula and diapers to families with babies and young children. All money raised will be used to purchase and provide formula and diapers to these families. Money will raised will be sent by bank transfer.
The Gaza Infant Care Collective- Diaper and Formula Initiative represents a crucial effort to address the pressing needs of families struggling in Gaza. With the ongoing humanitarian crisis, many families find it difficult to access essential supplies to care for their young children and infants.
In the realm of infant care, the significance of formula and consistent feedings cannot be overstated. Formula milk serves as a vital nutritional substitute for breast milk, especially when breastfeeding is not possible or preferred. It is carefully designed to mimic the nutritional profile of human milk, providing essential nutrients such as proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals that are crucial for an infant's growth and development. Consistent feedings, on the other hand, are critical in establishing a routine that ensures infants receive adequate nutrition at regular intervals. Regular feeding schedules help regulate an infant's hunger cues and promote healthy digestion. Moreover, the stability provided by consistent feedings can contribute to a baby's sense of security and well-being. Together, formula and consistent feedings form a cornerstone of infant nutrition, supporting their overall health and nurturing their development during the crucial early months of life.
This initiative aims to provide diapers and formula, which are fundamental for the health and well-being of infants. By supplying these essential items, the initiative seeks to alleviate some of the burdens faced by caregivers, ensuring infants receive proper nutrition and hygiene. By collaborating with the local community and our ground team, the initiative not only delivers immediate relief but also raises awareness about the broader needs of vulnerable populations in conflict-affected areas, advocating for sustainable support and long-term solutions.
All love and deepest gratitude for your unwavering support <3
