The Green Acres Art Centre (GAAC), local musicians and community volunteers have joined forces to raise funds for the Teulon & District Christmas Cheer Board this Holiday Season.
The team has been busy constructing a stage, recruiting performers, live-recording/editing tracks and practicing our numbers in an effort to spread Christmas cheer to one and all! Throughout December, GAAC will be releasing a series of holiday music videos titled 'Don't Let Your Neighbour Have a Blue Christmas.'
The local Cheer Board distributes approximately 75 Christmas hampers to families in the Teulon and surrounding area, each year. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Cheer Board was unable to raise funds from canteen food sales at the Annual Teulon Winterfest Craft Sale in November. In the spirit of giving, we want to help this organization spread cheer to as many families in the community as possible.
We are pleased to present a Christmas music video compilation featuring talented local and GAAC musicians. Tune in for a music-filled December and please donate to help us reach our GoFundMe goal of $2000. UPDATE we reached our original goal and have set a new goal of $3333.
