Help Us Light Up Tetbury This Christmas!

We’re the Tetbury Christmas Lights Committee, and we’ve come together with one goal:

✨ To raise the funds needed to light up Tetbury with a festive Christmas display this year.

Our aim is simple — to light up our beautiful town and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.

Why We Need Your Help

Lighting up Tetbury is no small task. It takes:

•⁠ ⁠Careful planning

•⁠ ⁠Installation and ongoing maintenance

•⁠ ⁠Safety checks and regulations

•⁠ ⁠Liaising with Highways

•⁠ ⁠Secure storage

•⁠ ⁠And most of all... funding!

This year, we’re aiming to raise £10,000 by October 2025 to make it all happen. While we can’t promise a massive winter wonderland (yet!), every penny raised will help us create something special for our community — and we hope it’s just the start of something that grows brighter every year.

Festive lights aren’t just about twinkly bulbs. They bring joy, foster community spirit, and encourage people to visit and support our amazing local businesses. It's about creating that feel-good atmosphere that makes Christmas in Tetbury something everyone can look forward to.

What Happens If We Don’t Hit Our Goal?

If we don’t reach our target this year, don’t worry—your donations won’t go unused.

Instead, they’ll roll over to support the Christmas Lights over the following years. And if the cause is discontinued, all remaining funds will be donated to TAYCT (Tetbury Area Youth & Community Trust), who are committed to creating safe and welcoming spaces for young people and the wider community.

So either way, your support will light up Tetbury — one way or another!
