Hi my name is Jessica Bullard. My mom, Terry Bullard, has ALS and I have started this Go Fund Me to help with making her home more accessible. My mom might be one of the most generous, caring people on this earth.

She has always been independent and has battled her declining abilities with grace and dignity over the past several years. She hit her first hospital stay after becoming very sick last week and will be transferring to rehab hospital for a short stay.

My mom’s wish is to be home. That is also the wish of her family and friends. In order that she can be given the best care possible and cared for safely, we need to make her home more handicap accessible. As a widow for many years, she provided for and raised me and my brother and sisters in a loving home where she sacrificed plenty of times to ensure we had what we needed and wanted. She worked hard for many years caring and loving on our communities special needs students at Gilbert Primary and volunteering with the youth at her church, First Baptist of Gilbert. Now it is time for us take care of her.

As her primary caretaker, I am asking you to consider helping with a monetary donation or lending a helping hand, so that we can get her home ready for her. She needs some plumbing work in her bathroom to make her toilet more usable. She also needs a roll in shower installed and rolling shower chair. We would also like to replace her carpet with vinyl so that her breathing is not compromised by dust and dirt that can collect in carpet.

I know a lot of family and friends have asked how to help. Any amount donated would be the most beneficial way at the moment to help make things easier for her. Any and all is appreciated and I know my mom will be beyond grateful.
