Terrazas-Palos Family - Car Accident

On Thursday, June 16, around 11:00 p.m., the Terrazas-Palos family was on their way to Mexico to visit relatives. Once in Mexican territory, a negligent and aggressive driver who was driving on the opposite lane passed the driver in front of him, crossing into the opposite lane where the Terrazas-Palos family was driving. Surprised, they tried to avoid the vehicle. After avoiding impact, they attempted to stop their vehicle, but unfortunately, one of the front wheels seized, and as a result, the vehicle overturned and spun several times. The accident was so strong that their children Humberto and Vanessa were thrown from the vehicle while it was spinning. Both were seriously injured. The rest of the family only suffered bumps and scrapes, but the affright of the unfortunate event has greatly affected the mother of the children and the youngest daughter who was also in the mishap.

Initially, the family was transferred to a health center in Villa Ahumada before being transferred to a hospital in Juárez, Chihuahua to receive better medical attention. But due to the magnitude and seriousness of the injuries and blows, the doctors decided, with the consent of the family, to transfer them to the Children's Hospital of El Paso, Texas, where they are currently being treated.

The boy, Humberto will have surgery this coming Thursday, June 23rd. He will undergo surgery on his spine and other parts of his fragile body as they were fractured in the car accident. El jueves 16 de junio, alrededor de las 11:00 pm horas, la familia Terrazas-Palos se dirigía a México para visitar a unos familiares. Una vez en territorio mexicano, un conductor negligente y agresivo que circulaba por la vía contraria rebasó al conductor que tenía delante, cruzándose a la vía contraria por donde manejaba la familia Terrazas-Palos. Sorprendidos, intentaron esquivar el vehículo. Después de evitar el impacto, intentaron frenar su vehículo, pero, lamentablemente, una de las ruedas delanteras se agarró y, como resultado, el vehículo giró y giró varias veces. El accidente fue tan fuerte que sus hijos Humberto y Vanessa salieron disparados del vehículo mientras este giraba. Ambos resultaron gravemente heridos. El resto de la familia solo sufrió golpes y raspaduras, pero el susto del lamentable suceso ha afectado mucho a la madre de los niños y a la hija menor que también se encontraban en el percance.

En un principio, la familia fue trasladada a un centro de salud en Villa Ahumada para luego ser trasladada a un hospital en Juárez, Chihuahua para recibir una mejor atención médica. Pero debido a la magnitud y gravedad de las heridas y golpes, los médicos decidieron con el consentimiento de la familia trasladarlos al Children's Hospital del Paso,Texas, donde actualmente están siendo atendidos.

El niño Humberto será operado este próximo jueves 23 de junio. Será intervenido quirúrgicamente de la columna vertebral y otras partes de su frágil cuerpo ya que se fracturaron en el accidente automovilístico. La joven Vanessa tiene una fractura de cráneo y está siendo tratada. Esta familia realmente necesita la ayuda y las bendiciones de toda la comunidad.
