Who this will help
After three years, business like Terra Cafe are still battling extreme COVID losses and expenses. Just a short time ago (September 2023), Terra Cafe was vandalized and the owner had to pay thousands to fix the damage. As food, fuel, insurance, labor costs and other business expenses continue to rise, it is becoming increasingly difficult for this community-based business to sustain itself.
Why I'm fundraising
With increasing challenges in our community, Terra Cafe's community commitment is still STRONG after 15 years of excellent service! Despite the many challenges, Terra Cafe is one of the oldest and largest, full-service Black restaurants in Baltimore City that is still fully operational.
Although faced with some extended challenges from COVID, Terra Cafe believes the formulas listed below can resolve some immediate deficits:
