Tents for the Homeless

Many of our homeless friends in the community recently lost thier tents and most of the few belongings they had when an area they were living in was cleared. Winter is coming quickly and these folks are already facing very cold, wet and windy weather this fall.

There are simply not enough safe, warm places for all of our friends in the community to go and these tents will allow them to remain safe from the elements for the night. The tents pack up quickly and easily so they can be tranported by foot or bicycle when not in use.

A friend within the homeless community is helping us get these tents into the hands of the folks who need them most. He has already received one and was so happy to find it's large enough for two people and has a rain/weather guard layer to make it waterproof. We are anxious to get as many of these handed out as quickly as possible.

The tents are $45 each. Any amount you can donate is welcome and we will purchase tents as the funds come in so people can be safe and dry ASAP. Our goal is to purchase 45 tents to give out on NOV 20.

Your help and support is very much appreciated. Please keep these precious souls in your prayers as the struggles they face on a daily basis go far beyond braving the weather. We all have a story....and some of theirs are not too different from our own at some points. Tangible love is an extremely impactful way to change the course of someone's life....and I believe a tent is a simple way for us to do just that!
