Operation Pay It Forward

Operation Pay It Forward is a new nonprofit that was created as of the result of the Friends in Crisis shelter abruptly closing in May.   After listening and assisting our homeless residents, it was decided that a nonprofit should be created to help them get on their feet.   Operation Pay It Forward was provided an EIN from the IRS  and certificate of formation from the Texas Secretary of State.

We need your assistance to to assist the homeless residents of  "Tent City" and the surrounding area.  We plan to lease/ purchase a facility to not only provide shelter, but teach them the job skills to be gainfully employed.  

Our goal is to coordinate with other local agencies and volunteers to provide services and resources.

The goal is to have a volunteer run shelter where residents assist in the care and maintenance of the facility.
