GIFT OF LIFE

I am Georgene Summers. In 1996 I met a young man in a Boma in the Masai Mara in Kenya and put him through school. His name is Leperes Pilot but I just call him Pilot. Today he is married with two little boys and he and his wife pay it forward. The Gift Of Life will provide water for 5000 people in Kenya and we … you and I can make that happen.  We are going to be impacting 200 villages that house those 5000 people and here is something that I recently discovered.  The women fetch the water from the Mara River.  This river is infested with dangerous crocodiles and hippos.  The crocodiles can whip a zebra or wildebeest into the river with one swipe of their tail so imagine what a woman trying to fetch water from this infested river go through.  Each day they must scoop water out of this river with a receptacle and each moment of that is life threatening.  The crocodiles often lurk under the water and with one whip of that deadly tale they can drag that women into the river and drown and eat her.  They risk their lives every single day to get the life saving benefit of something they should have without question.  WATER.   LIFE SAVING WATER.  Let's make that water easier to get.  Let's protect them from death at the hands of a crocodile.  Just a few dollars from 100 people more will bring this project home to 5000.  HELP ME HELP THEM.  

Your donation will give a Gift of Life with running water to people who have never had it. Just imagine having to walk miles and carry water back on your head in a huge tub. That is the reality. for. so many. I know as I have been to Africa many times and lived there as well. I have several families that I have been blessed with and this young man Pilot is one. This is his dream and my idea of how to make it a reality. This money will provide two 10000 litre water tanks platforms to put them on and all necessary excavation pipes etc to provide water to 5000 people. We can do it together.
