Hi friends,

I'm creating this fundraiser on behalf of a dear friend, Kali Havlick, and her family, who are in need after an emergency. A tree fell on their home, causing serious damage to their home and possessions and leaving it unsafe for them to live in.

The Havlick-Thacker family had to pack up and leave suddenly, and they are now trying to figure out where to go. They have two dogs and two children living at home, and they must find a safe space for them. While they do have insurance, it doesn't cover temporary housing, and they've been told that it could take several weeks just to process the claim before repairs can even begin. In the meantime, they are left to cover emergency housing costs and moving and storage expenses, while Jason has lost wages from this week.

If you know Kai, you know how much love she pours into her kids, their home, and their community. They aren't the type to ask for help, but they could really use some help now. It is my wish that this GoFundMe will provide them with some security so that they can focus on helping their family to find some safety and security after this traumatic event.
