IMPORTANT UPDATE PLEASE READ BEFORE DONATING...
AFTER THE INCREDIBLE SUCCESS OF THIS FUNDRAISER, I HAVE DECIDED WITH KYMBERLEE'S APPROVAL TO AWARD HER £2,365 OF THE DONATIONS RAISED SO FAR. THE OUTSTANDING AMOUNT AND ANY FURTHER DONATIONS WILL BE GIFTED TO CHAZ (THE DRIVER OF THE BUS) TO HELP HIM AND HIS FAMILY MOVING FORWARD. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.
Hi all,
As many of you are aware, there was a horrific incident that took place yesterday in the town of Madeley, Telford, where a local bus was hijacked
and the driver was viciously assaulted in a completely unprovoked attack whilst being completely defenceless whilst sat in his cab. The bus was then hijacked by the perpetrator and driven down a one way road hitting cars along the way.
I have started this fundraiser to hopefully have our great community come together to raise as much as we can to be gifted to the poor driver of this bus who worked the daily buses ensuring people of our community got to their destinations safely.
I also want to use this fundraiser to offer a reward to the brave young lady Kymberlee Daily who stood up to the perpetrator in a heroic effort to defend the bus driver from the assault. She then when on to frantically warn other members of the public to get to safety. This kind of bravery needs to be commended in our society, because it takes alot to stand up for what is right in the face of such violence.
Any money raised by the Go Fund Me will be split between Kymberlee and the poor bus driver who was just doing his job. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading.
UPDATE...
I just want to thank every single one of you guys for the incredible donations. I did not expect this fundraiser to blow up the way it has. I'm so thankful and humbled to see people come together like this. A message on behalf of Kym, she is overwhelmed and so touched by everyone's generosity. She did not expect to be rewarded for her bravery. She has asked me to thank you all. When I told her that not many would have stepped in and try to help the way that she did, she replied "I would do it again, over and over again", what a credit she is to our society.
