Help us create a vibrant, inclusive community garden in memory of Ori Ansbacher.
Recently a group of volunteers have been building a community garden גינה קהילתית. The goal is to create a space for public use that brings community together through connecting with nature, agriculture and creativity.
We have decided to dedicate the garden in memory of Ori Ansbacher a young resident of Tekoa who was brutally murdered last week.
Ori loved the land of Israel and was connected to nature. In the words oof her mother at her funeral:
"(Ori) loved this land so much, she was forever travelling throughout the land. She went out to walk, to breathe, to sit, and to work the earth"

Tekoa is a unique community located in the Judean Desert, south of Jerusalem. Tekoa demographic is comprised of religious and secular Jews of all stripes and denominations. Tekoa was founded on the ideology of 'Ahavat Yisrael' - the love of your fellow Jew.
We have received a small patch of land from the local council to build the garden, and have run several events in the space. We now need your partnership to purchase materials to transform this patch of land into a fully functioning vegetable garden and community space.
Every small contribution will directly be used to bring this project into reality.
