Ava's First Volunteering Trip to Borneo!

Hi, my name is Ava, I'm 13 years old (currently) and am aiming to raise £5,000 to fund a World Challenge volunteering trip to Borneo in 2025.

   

My school is helping to organise the trip and will continue to update me on the details of how we will be helping the community in Borneo.

This trip will teach me endless amounts of life skills as well as giving back by doing conservation work in the area.

• Helping to protect nesting Turtles
• Learning and supporting marine conservation
• Trekking along the Pahu Trail
• Learning about deforestation
• Helping at the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre

I am too young to get a job at the moment to raise money but have already started saving my pocket money and finding odd jobs for family members to start funding this trip.

I am aiming to raise £200 per month to enable me to reach my target 2025. I plan on doing multiple fundraising events over the next 2 years and am happy to roll my sleeves up and get my hands dirty to earn this money.
