I started TED Talko Tuesday with the goal of creating a community for radical thinkers and people who love hearing new ideas and perspectives. Since 2021, I've held over 200 TED Talko Tuesdays, making at least 3000 tortillas from scratch, with the help of friends.

I've had countless people tell me I need a tortilla press to make the prep faster, but I haven't been satisfied with the options on the market, all of which require using parchment paper to avoid sticking, and then still require heating on the stove.

It's a nonstick stove-top press that cooks while it presses, meaning no more rolling pin and flour everywhere, and hopefully no more smoke alarms! This will reduce prep time so the tacos are ready earlier and we can spend more time enjoying each other's company and watching the TED Talks.
