My name is McKinzie Dobey, and I am creating this fundraiser to raise money for my little brother, Koleton Richardson.
On January 30th, Koleton, an avid ATV/MX racer, was practicing on the track when he wrecked his ATV. He was mediflighted to Oklahoma City, where he underwent emergency spinal surgery. While the surgery to fix the C4 verterbrae was successful, not a doctor in the world has found a way to repair the spinal cord.
Koleton has been accepted into the Spinal Cord Rehabiliation Program at Craig Hosptial, a world-reknowned rehabiliation hospital specializing in spinal cord injuries, located in Colorado.
The severity of his injury leaves many unaswered questions, and Koleton is fighting on a day to day basis. What we do know is that progress is possible, and he is recieving the best treatmeant available. That's where you come in!
We are raising funds to help pay for Koleton's medical bills, travel expenses, and any assistance he might need in the future.
Although details are uncertain, we do know one thing. Koleton is a fighter. He is full of determination, passion, and life. While he is not one to ask for help, he knows when he needs it. Together we can keep his fight strong.
