Team High Rollers in Jamaica!

We've teamed up with the Clarendon Youth Information Center in Jamaica to kick start a roller skating program scheduled to begin at the end of April.

The initial clinic that focuses on safety, maintenance and basic skills will be followed up with a sustainable skate program operated by the participants.

Our goal is to create the foundation for a sustainable roller skate program through the following:

- purchasing and shipping the initial equipment needed.
- providing occasional transportation to the closest skating rinks until a closer venue can be acquired.
- providing hard copy, in person and online resource materials.
- encouraging group collaboration and team building skills.
- empowering participants to take the lead in the organization and administration of the program.

Here's a bit about the center.

The Clarendon Youth Information Centre is a branch of the Ministry of Youth and Culture that specializes in Youth Development.

YOUTH INFORMATION CENTRES (YICs) are key resources for the youth. In many countries in the world, YICs provide a free information service to young people and those who work with them.
