Running for Team Herman

Hello to our lovely friends and family,
On Sunday, October 16th Jenny and I are running the Rock and Roll Half Marathon in Denver.
We are running in honor of our dear friend Erin and her two young children, Paul and Tobi. Erin lost her husband and the kids lost their father, Jake at the start of this year. Jake Herman was a friend and coach of mine prior to marrying Erin. He was intelligent and motivating and to be honest, he likely would not approve of my snail-like running pace.
Erin is bravely creating a life for Team Herman without Jake. We wish to make that a little easier for her. We also are considering how the upcoming holidays may be difficult for Team Herman. We would love to extend an olive branch not only for Santa, but so Erin can have an additional cushion should they need to reach out for emotional resources.
Friends, please help us to to help Team Herman. Please consider donating one dollar for every mile we each will run in October. $13. Or hey, maybe even $26.
