#TeamHaslerMND and Rotary Club of Macclesfield

Lee and I are raising money in aid of #TeamHaslerMND and Rotary Club of Macclesfield Castle Trust Fund and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
The Dean Valley Primary School family is very special. It consists of all staff, governors, pupils, and parents—both past, present, and future. It is a family that supports incredible values such as hope, joy, positivity, and resilience. A major part of that family is Mr. Rob Hasler, our wonderful Year 4 teacher. In October, he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a condition that affects the nerves known as motor neurones. These nerves are found in the brain and spinal cord, and they help tell your muscles what to do.
To help support Rob and his family we are taking part in a Sponsored Swimathon on Sunday 16th March 2025!
This is a team relay event. It involves a team of 4 to 6 swimming continuously for 45 minutes. The average team swims a total of 60 - 80 lengths in 45 minutes. But we're not an average team! We'll smash that statistic! The whole reason for the day is to raise money for charity by sponsorship/donations of support. Of the monies raised 50% will go to #TeamHaslerMND and 50% to Rotary for local community charities.
Please do support our fund-raising challenge and have a 'wave of a time' sending your donations.
Much love and hope to you all XxX
