Donation protected
I am running my very first 25K on 5/9/15 and I wanted it to be extra meaningful by running to support a family that I love dearly. Matthew and Megan Deprez and their son Isaiah are about to add to their family by adoption in the next month, and I want to be a part of their family's journey!
Four years ago, Matthew and Megan adopted Isaiah into their family. God has led them to adopt again, and they just received the news that they were chosen and that they are going to be welcoming a baby boy in a few short weeks! Because they were selected so quickly, they have a very short amount of time to raise a very large amount of money! The entire adoption process costs more than $20,000, and while Matt and Megan are working hard to come up with the money, it is a
God-sized challenge!
As a way to support them living out Isaiah 1:17 that says "Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.", I want to create an opportunity for all of their friends and family to partcipate in this adoption by pledging $1 for every kilometer I am running in May($25). You can of course donate more or less, but I am excited to see what will happen when we all join together forTeam Deprez and their amazing story. Thank you for being a part of this with me!
