Zara's Center has a team running in the 2025 Life Time 305 Half Marathon & 5K, presented by Baptist Health. Both races will take place on March 2, 2025 - right on Miami Beach.

Zara's Center is an after-school safe haven for orphaned and vulnerable children in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The Center provides daily meals, academic enrichment, medical care, work training, recreation, and artistic development in Emganwini Township.

All donations will go to Friends of Zara's Center, a 501c3 that was set up to allow American individuals and companies to support the Center's incredible work. ​By raising funds and spreading awareness, Friends of Zara's Center helps ensure that Zara's children continue to receive life-changing services each day.

We welcome your gift of any size, but to give you a sense of the impact of your generosity, we are sharing information about various levels of giving:

$30,000: 1 year of school fees/college tuition for 140 children

$10,000: Feeding program for 8 months

$5,000: Feeding program for 4 months

$2,500: Training and continued education for staff

$1,000: Shoes and new school supplies for 50 children

$500: Supplies for arts and programming

$250: School break tutoring for 30 children
