Team Walker Take on Africa's Highest Mountain for Trust

The Challenge

Remember that intrepid group who conquered the Three Peaks Challenge in 2023? Well, they're back at it again, and this time, they're aiming even higher!

Phil Webb, Nathan Sims, Sam Ansell, Alex Goble, George Hill, Michael Hall, and Darren Read are gearing up to tackle Mount Kilimanjaro from February 10th to 15th, 2025. Their mission? To raise funds for The Walker Construction Trust, a remarkable organisation dedicated to making a difference in local communities. The Trust setup and managed by Chairman of Walker Construction Steven Walker.

The Walker Construction Trust is a beacon of hope for those in need. As a grant-making organisation, the Trust delivers funds to local community members who submit grant applications through the Walker Construction website.

How It Works

Application Process: You can apply for a grant at any time through our online form.

Review: Trustees meet quarterly to review applications, with procedures in place for approvals between meeting dates if necessary.

Decision Timeline: We aim to make decisions on 95% of grant applications within 4 months of receipt. Larger grants may take up to 6 months.

Grant Size: While most of our grant awards are under £10,000, we assess all acceptable applications on a case-by-case basis.
