At age 3 Jett Ramsey was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, brain cancer. After brain surgery, and removing the tumor, he underwent a year of radiation and chemotherapy. He just finished his treatment in September and we just learned he now has a new tumor in his brain. This means we are fighting an aggressive form of cancer. His family, Chris and Amy Ramsey and Jett's brothers Christian and Jack have undergone a hard battle already and now need our strength to help them continue the fight.
Up to this point Jett has endured an 11 hour brain surgery, 40 days and 40 nights in the hospital, 8 weeks across the country away from his daddy and brothers, hundreds of pokies, 7 or 8 MRI’s, 3 CT scans, 3 blood transfusions, 5 platelet transfusions, and went under general anesthesia over 40 times.
This tragedy comes with a lot of financial difficulties. One parent needs to be available 24/7 for treatments, travel to Stanford/St. Jude, and general care. Amy and Chris own a small business which means time off for Chris is not an option without financial loss. This fund will allow for Chris to take some time off if things get really difficult. Time is precious and the financial bourdon is hard. Any support, even $5 will add up and help them get through this and help remove the financial bourdon. There are so many medical and therapy expenses, gas for traveling to and from Stanford almost daily and so much more. Babysitters and compounded medications have cost thousands alone.
