Hostage US is a 501c3 non-profit organization that supports families of Americans taken hostage or wrongfully detained abroad and supports hostages and detainees when they return home. Each year, an estimated 200 Americans are taken hostage overseas. We are here to help families survive this terrifying ordeal and help former hostages rebuild their life after captivity.

Every year, a dedicated group of individuals trains and participates in the Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon and 5K race in Washington DC in support of Hostage US and our mission. Through this endeavor, Hostage US has raised over $40,000 from 2017-2022 which goes directly to providing practical support to the hostages, wrongful detainees, and families Hostage US is proud and honored to support.
