Team Gambia 2025

Hi my name is Katie and I am a 16 year old raising money for a trip I am taking with Solihull Sixth Form College to Gambia in November of this year. We are going to the Abuko nursery and lower basic school and will spend a week volunteering to teach the children lessons and help to develop the school with money raised.

Since the project started in 2013, £92,000 has been raised to help the school do things like building a library, drilling a well and providing essential educational materials for the teachers and students to use.

I hope to raise £400 to contribute to the total funds raised this year, to do this I will be running the wythall and hollywood fun run and doing the 10k event.
