Let me tell you about Cristopher Chavarria....
Cris is small in stature, adorable as can be (and he knows it), kind and a good sharer. He adores his little three old brother who he refers to as “my baby” and of course, his parents. If Cristopher was given a choice to either play with toys or clean, he would choose to clean 10 times out of 10. He is hilarious and very charming. Anybody who meets Cristopher falls in love. He is THAT kind of kid.
In early July 2018, just prior to his sixth birthday, Cris was diagnosed with leukemia . Yup, leukemia!!!! Needless to say, his parents were devastated. Cristopher will be getting chemotherapy for the next 2-3 years. He is being treated at Mass General Hospital. This is a very grueling and exhausting schedule. The treatment is worse than the actual disease. When this sad news got out to his classmates families and teachers, everyone wanted to do something to help Cris and his family. Hence, this GoFundMe page.
Cris’s Mom, Joana had to quit her job and his Dad has to take time off to care for their 3 year old son while Mom is with Cristopher at the hospital.
They are very proud and humble people and did not ask for help.
Any donation would help to keep this family intact and to not have to stress about mounting medical bills, rent, food, electricity and all other necessities to promote some kind of normalcy inorder to just concentrate on healing Cristopher.
Cristopher is a little warrior and if anybody can beat this disease, he can!!! With your help, we can all make a huge difference in this little guy and his family’s lives.
