Hi my name is John Camoccio, I am 48 years old. I’m a husband to a loving wife and father to two amazing daughters 8 & 13 years old.

I was diagnosed with head and neck cancer stage 4, Jan 2024 and I have been fighting this terrible disease ever since with everything medically they can give me.

Without the love and support of my wonderful wife, 2 daughters and family and friends, I doubt I’d have made it this far. The treatment is aggressive and so this has not only put a lot of emotional strain on our lives but a financial one too.

So for me too continue my fight without having to worry financially would undoubtedly be a huge benefit to my journey to recovery.

‘Team Camoccio’ has been put together by my cousin Paul. This amazing group of people are taking on the Ultra Challenge in June 2025 which is to walk 100KM in 24hrs (Peak District) to support raising funds for me and my family while I continue my battle.
