It's been 6 years since we lost our beautiful little girl, Amara. And although time and life have moved forward, we will never forget her cheeky smile or the joy and light she brought into the lives of everyone who met her in her one short year on earth.

Sometimes it's too painful, too much, too sad. But Im still so grateful for the time we had and for everything we have been blessed with: the twins, Ariana and all you wonderful people in our lives...

Every year since Amara died, an amazing group of girls from NHEHS who are now in year 6 (!) have run the Ealing mini-mile in honour of Amara to raise money for children's charities. They have raised an incredible amount of money - almost £50000 in the past 6 years.

This year we want to continue that legacy and with your support, raise money for the Pitshanger Playcentre. This is where we began. Amara spent many happy days in her short life here and when she died,

we funded the redevelopment of the playground there in her name: Amara's house still stands as a proud testament.

We want to support this Playcentre as they continue to provide an invaluable service to local children; after all Amara's life, although way too short, was a life filled with music, bubbles and play - a complete life.

Amara, we miss you each and every day, and until we can hold you again in our arms, we will hold you in our hearts. This is for you my darling, Happy 7th Birthday
