The Teal Center, an oasis of calm and healing in Arlington since 1990, needs your help to pay the rent and other fixed expenses during the coronavirus shutdown.
Your contribution of any amount will help this Arlington treasure survive so we can continue to be a special place of peace and healing in the lives of our clients, practitioners and staff.
Like so many small businesses at this time, The Teal Center is currently faced with great challenges. We have had little or no income since March 16, and must remain closed for an indefinite period of time. Our cash reserves are quickly dwindling, with a second month of bills coming due very soon.
We’re exploring every means of possible support, including federal and local grants and loans, but these funds are not guaranteed to come in, and they won’t meet our immediate needs. So, we come to you, our friends, for your support. We know it is a difficult and uncertain time for everyone. If you’re in a position to support us we’ll be extremely grateful to receive that help, and any donation to this campaign will contribute to the cash resources we need to address the immediate future.
We are doing everything in our power to keep The Teal Center intact so we can return to the work and community we love. We are developing a careful re-opening plan and look forward to the time when it will again be safe to work with our clients in person.
