Teagan's Fundraiser: 5 year old fighting cancer

Hi my name is Natasha Booth and the little girl in the photo is Teagan, my niece who has been diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. There are two types and Teagan unfortunately has the more progressive aggressive cancer. Teagan was diagnosed on the September 16th of this year two weeks before her 5th Birthday and started treatment on September 18th. After her second round of steroids and chemotherapy, she unfortunately has still not gone into remission.

Teagan has a younger brother Mason (see image below) who is two years old and has been tested for bone marrow and he is not a match. The last option is for Teagan to receive bone marrow and then next year Teagan (along with her mom Tarien) will undergo three months or more, in isolation while she undergoes radiotherapy. We are now looking for bone marrow donors internationally while Teagan's parents, family members and friends have stepped forward to get tested for bone marrow. Latest update on Teagan is that she will have to travel either to Netherlands or UK for her treatment in isolation.

Parents (Tarien and Paul) are facing many unexpected challenges and expenses so I've started this Go Fund Me account to help this lovely family with the added financial burden. Tarien has had to leave her job to care for her daughter full time and Paul is working hard to support his family through this difficult time. Constantly traveling between Cork and Dublin, the different hospitals to receive treatment and tests has caused understandable strain.
