Silver Cliff Fire and Rescue Tornado Relief

Tax deductible

On June 15th as severe storms swept across northern Wisconsin, The Silver Cliff Volunteer Fire and Rescue building was devastated along with numerous other public and private properties around town as a tornado touched down. This breaks my heart as my parents live and work here. This is where my kids are the happiest and this community is full of some of the nicest people I have ever met. This disaster hits extra hard as my dad, Jeff DeBauche and my brother, Dylan, serve on the Fire Department. My dad is the Assistant Chief and I've seen first hand the way Fire and Rescue are an absolute pillar of this community. The building is a total loss and fire and rescue both lost everything. While insurance may help some, as a volunteer department, they are funded mainly through donations. The initial estimates from the town chairman are $3-5million and a year+ before things are back in order.
These volunteers are who we call on in an emergency, day or night, and they never fail to answer that call. They now need your support to help get them back up and running as soon as possible and to help ease some of the financial burden from this unexpected disaster.
We greatly appreciate your generous donations to the community and support of our volunteer first responders!
