Travelling to Cambodia to Teach English

Hi, My name is Ben Temple and I'm a 1st-year English student at University College Dublin.

I have been provided with an opportunity to travel to Cambodia alongside UCDVO and MOEI Education in the summer to provide educational English lessons to children and adults of all ages.

All volunteers, including myself must raise a minimum of €1,850. This money is to support UCDVO and MOEI Cambodia in their efforts to provide vital services, education & livelihood programmes. This figure raised does not contribute to the cost of my flights and vaccinations, which will be self-funded.

MOEI, Cambodia

MOEI, established by the University of Hong Kong in 2008 was initially created to provide Education in the English-language for migrant children within the Thai-Burma border. Since its creation, MOEI has expanded to Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and China and is ran by the London registered Experiential Learning of Asia.

UCDVO has worked alongside many organisations within Asia including Assam Don Bosco University, the Ferrando Speech and the Hearing Center, Society for Working Life.
