Help Us Teach 1 Million People to Swim
Swim Up Hill Foundation and Soweto Swim School are launching a landmark U.S.–South Africa partnership to expand aquatic inclusion across Africa.
Our upcoming event at Nike Shapa Soweto will celebrate the power of sport to connect communities and create greater access to swimming and water safety.
Our first goal is to teach 10,000 swimmers in 2027 — one step toward our larger goal of teaching 1 million people to swim.
Your donation will help support the launch event and fund the swim education, water-safety programming, and community partnerships needed to make this vision possible.
With support from organizations including the South Africa Department of Sport, Arts & Culture, U.S. Embassy, Swimming South Africa, SASCOC, and Special Olympics South Africa, we’re building a movement that goes beyond one event.
