Raise money for the Stroke Association

On the 28th April i will be taking part in Plymouth Half Marathon for the Stroke Association. As some may know my fit and healthy mum suffered a life threatening stroke in December 2020. She had life saving surgery and has overcome the unimaginable. Truly the strongest fighter ever. One in a million.

Since then my mums been determined to her build strength and reach her own personal milestones. She’s in the gym 3 times a week building strength in her left arm, along with other rehab. She’s such an inspiration to me and i admire everything she’s achieved.

In 2021 my sister and I raised over £13,000 for the stroke association and I’ve decided to raise money again for them. My mums stroke was a massive shock to my family and we’ve been through the unimaginable. We’ve stuck by each other’s side and had the most amazing support from family and friends. A big goal for me is to tell our story, raise awareness for strokes and support other families. The money I raise will go towards the stroke association to support families who are in need and help them through the difficult times.

Strokes can happen to anyone and can affect anyone’s life. Everyone who is affected deserves the support we had from the stroke association, doctors, family and the community around us.

Any donations would be really appreciated
