This year has been a rough one. I'm a single mother and have never owned a new vehicle. I rely on two vehicles to get me and my kids were we need to go. I have a little '95 Honda Civic that currently has no A.C.and a '96 Jeep Grand Cherokee with A.C. and 4 wheel drive.

The Jeep needed the radiator replaced so I took it to a shop who said they would have it done the next day, no problem. Then the water pump blew so I took it back. Then the Jeep started having compression issues and shutting off at the most inconvenient times like an intersection with on coming traffic. So back to the shop a third time where they changed out the fuel pump, power steering, sensors, hoses, fittings, and relays without letting me know first and changed for them. My jeep continued to shut off and its now in a different shop that told me the first shop didn't install the radiator correctly.

I don't know how much its going to cost but my emergency fund is blown thanks to the first shop. Had I'd know this was going to be the outcome, I would have purchased an other vehicle for the amount of money put into the jeep. Sur, I could sale the Honda but it's not going to be worth enough to pay for the repairs on the Jeep and would put me out of a working vehicle to get to work. This month is my birthday month and all I want is my jeep back. Those that know me know how much love this vehicle. I'm not ready to part with it and I don't want to lose it. For my birthday, the only gift I would like is to put it towards my jeep. I'm asking friends and family for help.
