Support Terenure College RFC and help bring our Elephant in the Room (EITR) to life.
All in Aid of Mental Health
At Terenure College Rugby Football Club, we are about more than rugby. We are about people, community, and looking out for one another. That is why we are proud to launch this fundraiser in support of the Elephant in the Room mental health initiative.
We are raising funds to bring our very own Elephant in the Room sculpture to the club.
It will stand as a visible reminder that it is okay to talk about mental health.
Why We Are Fundraising
The total cost to commission our is EITR is €4,500 including VAT.
All donations raised through this page will go directly towards covering this cost.
If we exceed this amount we will use those funds to go back into raising awareness of metal health in the club.
This is about creating awareness, starting conversations, and supporting mental wellbeing within our club and beyond.
How You Can Get Involved
We are asking members, supporters, parents, former players and friends of the club to sponsor as little or as much as they can. Every contribution matters.
With every donation, you are invited to:
• Suggest a name for our new Ellie
• Suggest a word you associate with Terenure College RFC, such as community, minis, teamwork, respect.
These can be sent on email to sponsorship@tcrfc.ie or message our social media channels or contact your local rep.
All names and words will be collated and reviewed by a judging panel, who will select the final ones to be associated with the EITR.
Why Elephant in the Room Matters
Elephant in the Room is a powerful Irish mental health initiative that uses art to help people talk about what is often left unsaid. Their elephants appear in schools, workplaces, clubs and public spaces to encourage open conversations, reduce stigma, and remind people that they are not alone.

By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping Terenure College RFC play its part in promoting positive mental health, inclusion and support across our community.
