Summary if you don’t want to read in it’s entirety:
I’m a single Mom of two with disabilities who needs to relocate Mom with Dementia from Fla to CA and need your help for airfare, deposits and first month rent. I have an income and have it from there! The relocation is sudden due to Aunts diagnosis of cancer who was caring for her. However I have found a place that’s a once in a lifetime opportunity of an affordable In Laws Suite near me to care for her for her as we have small space! Please help!

Extended version: As my friends know, I’m a single Mom with two with disabilities. There’s never enough hours in the day but the blessings are many! However in addition, I’ve been caring for my 71 year Mom with beginning to mid stages of Dementia long distance. She’s also been cared for by my Aunt who is older than her! Well, they cared for each other. Unfortunately my Aunt has been diagnosed with cancer. We discussed solutions. My cousin, my Aunts daughter, will be moving to care for her in Fla from Tennessee and I need to bring my Mom to me in CA. Although I saw the time coming to bring her closer to me, I was SO hoping to wait a year to save and prepare. Unfortunately that’s never how things go it seems. Ours is not a large place, we are not in a house, rather a townehome and my children can be like any children and very noisy and then times ten. It’s not necessarily the environment to relax and for a 71 year old, it can be even more aggravating and triggering even as MUCH as she LOVES her grandchildren. She needs her own place and room near me to bring her to when the noise level and activity becomes too much and she can needs to have her own room. However upon searching for senior housing I discovered the rents, even senior housing is not affordable and subsidized housing has a seven year wait! It would be a miracle if we could find a little In Laws Suite on someone’s property near me and guess what… I have found such a place! An In Laws Suite that is on the property of a kind family that just built it for rental income AND it’s in my budget! Move in date is Sept 1st! A miracle opportunity! The challenge is deposits, pet deposit, first months rent and air fare! It’s all happening so fast I haven’t time to prepare! I DON’T want to lose this opportunity in a housing market unaffordable!!! I will also be covering her very low lot rent in Fla on her mobile home until we figure out why to do with it. It is not worth more than $500-$1000 as she only paid $500. It’s not worth thousands that would cover this move. Please Help!!!! It’s humbling and VERY hard to ask for help but feel the planets have all aligned for her to come to me rather I’m ready or not but need this last piece of the puzzle to come together with help from others! I’ve given so much help to others but it’s quite different asking for it but I must practice what I preach and that’s to reach out when we need help! Thank you for reading, helping and sharing!!!
