The Covid-19 pandemic has hit New York hard. In my community, people are afraid for their health and wellbeing. But more than that, almost everyone in my community has seen a massive hit to their livelihoods.
People have been laid off, or simply can't work indefinitely. Entrepreneurs have seen a substantial hit in revenue. Pretty much everyone has lost clients and income streams.
I created this GoFundMe to raise money for this community. The money will go towards the young women and men who are truly incapable of paying rent and buying groceries through the rest of this pandemic.
There are a lot of charities focusing on Covid relief that you can donate to right now. The benefit of donating here is that every single penny will go to those in need. There are no overhead or other expenses- I am personally donating my time, and will personally cover any expenses I may encounter while running this fund.
Every dollar counts, so if you can donate even a dollar or two, it will be appreciated.
