Angie has always been a fighter. As a single mother, she worked tirelessly to provide for her family. But life has a way of testing even the strongest hearts.
Last year, Angie received the devastating news—glioblastoma. The diagnosis turned her world upside down. The treatments drained her energy, the hospital bills piled up, and then, just when she thought things couldn’t get worse, she had to go on leave from her job. Without a steady income, keeping up with expenses became a daily struggle.
Then, her car—her only means of transportation—broke down. It was more than just an inconvenience; it was a lifeline. Without it, getting to her doctor appointments became nearly impossible, so she has to rely on others, as well as getting her son to school. She wants to do these on her own before her chemo and cancer get worse.
She has been relying on Katie for everything and needs to be able to do all this by herself. The repairs weren’t cheap, and with no job, every dollar counted. She tried to get her old car fixed, but she needs a completely new engine.
Angie is asking for help from the community and family so she can fight this battle against cancer and get her independence back with transportation. Anything helps, and if you can’t donate, sharing this page and your prayers count just as much.
