Help My Sister Erika in Her Fight Against Cancer

Hi,

My name is Araceli, and today I’m asking for something that isn’t easy—but I’m doing it for someone I love deeply: my sister Erika.

Since April, Erika has been hospitalized at UCSF and fighting cancer. These have been incredibly difficult months filled with chemotherapy, hospital stays, medical appointments, and procedures. Her body is tired, but her spirit refuses to give up.

Although she is no longer hospitalized, she now receives outpatient care and has several medical appointments every week—all of them at UCSF. The expenses never stop: transportation, medications, lab work, compatibility testing with our siblings for a marrowbone transplant and much more.

But what gives her strength every single day is her 8-year-old daughter. She is her reason to keep going, to not give up, and to heal.

That’s why I’m here—asking for your help.

Our goal is to raise $7,500 dollars to cover the most urgent medical needs.

I know that giving is not always easy—but this is more than just asking for money. It’s an act of love, of compassion, of standing beside someone who truly needs it.

Erika deserves to keep fighting with dignity, without the added burden of financial stress. And you can be part of that miracle.

Ayuda para el tratamiento de cáncer de mi hermana Erika

Hola,

Soy Araceli y hoy quiero pedirte algo que no es fácil… pero lo hago por alguien a quien amo profundamente: mi hermana Erika.

Desde Abril ha estado hospitalizada Erika está luchando contra Cancer . Han sido meses difíciles, con muchas quimioterapias, hospitalizaciones, citas médicas y procedimientos. Su cuerpo está cansado, pero su corazón no se rinde.

Aunque ya no está internada, sigue con cuidados ambulatorios y tiene varias citas a la semana, todas de ellas en UCSF Los gastos no paran: transporte, medicamentos, estudios, análisis de compatibilidad entre hermanos para un transplante de Medula Osea mucho más.

Pero si hay algo que le da fuerzas cada día es su hija de 8 años. Ella es su razón para seguir, para no rendirse, para querer sanar.

Por eso estoy aquí, pidiéndote ayuda.

Nuestra meta es reunir $7,500 dólares para cubrir lo más urgente.

Sé que no es fácil pedir, ni dar. Pero esto no es solo juntar dinero, es un acto de amor, de solidaridad, de ayuda para alguien que realmente lo necesita.
