Taylor and Layla's recovery fund

My sister Taylor is an amazing person, friend to many and a devoted single mother to her two year old daughter, Layla. She's recently divorced and came back to Chicago to surround herself with family and friends as well as establishing her once thriving career here. During this vulnerable transition Taylor was the victim of criminal theft. The person she was renting from stole everything she's ever owned; some never to be replaced, family photos, heirlooms, etc. She left for work that day and returned to nothing....not much different than coming home to your house in flames. After working tireless hours with a detective and the states attorney the person was arrested and recently pled guilty to criminal theft. However, they were unable to recover her belongings (absolutely everything she owns)!

Sometimes life throws you a curve ball when you least expect it, causing unimaginable devastation, frustration, and feelings of hopelessness. Taylor (in true form) is trying to stay positive and persevere in the face of adversity. I know she has the determination and strength to do so. She just needs a little help from friends or anyone compelled to help her with re-establishing life as she once knew it. I am starting this gofundme in hopes we can raise enough money to ease the financial pressures she's been faced with i.e securing new housing in the blink of an eye, furnishing a home and the basic household items, wardrobes for herself and Layla and the list goes on and on. Taylor is the kind of person who will pay forward any blessings she receives. Please help spread the word!
