Phoenix Foodbank

The Phoenix Centre foodbank is helping more people than ever - and now we need your help again!

The cost-of-living crisis is forcing increasing numbers of people to use foodbanks, and we have stepped up our provision to meet the need. Our weekly foodbank currently supports around 350 individuals in 130 households in the Mile Cross ward and surrounding areas. We provide nappies and sanitary products on request, and during the winter we also give out bags of warm clothing.

We are incredibly grateful to Norwich Consolidated Charities for their generous grant last autumn which was intended to maintain the foodbank for a year. However, due to the increased demand, these funds are now very close to running out after 8 months. We are working on long-term funding plans to make our services sustainable.
