Hey! I’m Jamie and I’m fundraising on behalf of my pretty inspirational (in my biased opinion) son Tate.
Tate is aiming to raise £5220 to join a small number of his school friends on the trip of a lifetime to Peru next year.
The trip will be for four weeks, consisting of 3 weeks community work, helping with projects such as building toilets, school buildings, etc. as well as a trek to Machu Picchu. The trip is run by Camps International, who encourage those who want to take part to fundraise the money themselves.
if you’ve known us for a while, you’ll know Tate is already an avid fundraiser, raising money for charities which have helped him in recent years. He now wants to go one step further!
Tate has had multiple mini strokes and in the past 6 years been diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1, Glut 1 Deficiency and Epilepsy. This meant he needed to jump through a lot of hoops to gain medical clearance but… he did it! So because of this he’s slightly behind his peers with fundraising, but I’m sure he’ll get there!
If you can give anything, we’d be extremely grateful, but we also understand times are hard, so just sharing this page would mean the world!
We’ll be starting fundraising events soon, so if anyone wants to get involved… businesses who could donate prizes etc. please reach out!
Thank you so much if you made it this far!
Tate and his very proud Mum!
