This year I will be running the Boston Marathon for my very first marathon! I am super excited and already training hard!
Although I like being active, a marathon seems a little daunting. With your encouragement and support, I can make it all the way to Boston and cross the finish line! :)
I will be raising money for the First Church of Squantum, a truly neighborhood church that provides places and times for civil discourse, maintains a sense of community, and brings people together in love. They are open and welcoming to all, and are always offering to help out to the community in any way! Whether it is opening their doors to host community meetings, mommy and me groups, piano lessons, yoga, irish step lessons, Seasonal Fairs, Boy Scouts, parent's nights out, and more! I have seen the impact that the First Church makes through it's Vacation Bible Camp (offered free to the community!) and as a place to meet some of my closest friends!
