A Family of 6
 
   We have some exciting news to share with you!! Our family is growing through the adoption of an amazing 14 year old boy. Even as those words are typed, it's crazy to see the journey God has brought us on. From our very first date 18 years ago in Modesto, we talked about our shared heart for adoption. As the years passed God continued to stir that passion in our hearts and we wondered how it would all play out. We moved to Cambodia thinking that adoption would look a certain way for us but God showed us that His plan is better than ours (which is always the case, right, haha). 

   There are so many details that we will love to share after the adoption becomes final but for now we can share that we love this kid and we love how perfectly he fits into our family. We have seen God's hand in the whole process and look forward to sharing more so that He gets all the glory!!
We are asking you to partner with us in 2 ways. The first is through PRAYER. There are so many details that we have to figure out, favor that we need with the courts and adjustments in our family. We trust God to see us through and are excited for the journey. 

   The second is FINANCIAL. We need to raise $5000 to cover the cost of the legal side of the adoption. The first $3500 needs to be paid to the lawyer in the next couple weeks. Any amount raised over this will go to paying for miscellaneous expenses that come with adding a new member to your family (like new bunkbeds, school supplies and food...teen boys eat a lot, haha).

   We are so thankful for the love and support from our family and friends around the world. We appreciate it more than we can express.
